The end of day battle.
It’s 10:10 at night and I’m layed against the best with my knees on the ground typing away instead of doin what I should be doing. Most nights end up similar to this. Slight procrastinating the little this that are supposed to be done every night. Well aware that the alarm at 4:00am tomorrow morning will soon be barreling down upon me. I still have to feed the dogs, take them out, close up the house, and finally shave and shower and get ready for bed. The whole process is probably about 45 minutes of work. But somehow I stretch it to about 90 minutes. This is one of those things I want to remedy with a slower paced life. If you don’t know, that’s the purpose of this whole blog, YouTube channel, or whatever it becomes. As The Doer Of Things, I want to create and build a slower paced and more intentional life. Part of my issue with these nighttime routines is my cell phone. The models have gotten so good at grabbing and holding our attention. They are stealing our lives always from us for add space. I want out. I want to be in control. I want to quit the doom scroll and stop the brain rot. This is not who we are meant to be. As people and humans we are here to work together to build a better tomorrow for ourselves and our friends and our families. We need to focus on community and helping the earth. Not on our cellphones. I hope this isn’t to preachy or too much of a run on. I’ll get the hang of this. But if your still here, thank you and welcome to The Doer Of Things blog! There will be more to come.
