FINANCES: In terms of finances I would say I am “normal” as Dave Ramsey puts it. I have normal debt. That’s not to say it’s not a lot because it is. But it comes from being too relaxed in everyday life. The “I’ll pay it of when I get paid” that never comes and the “I have to have this to do this” stuff that could probably have been done with things already owned. I think we all tend to do this. A big problem that I have found with myself is I envision the person that I will be when I have it and you know what I’m still the same old me when I get it. That ties into this whole journey of finding out what I’m doing and who I am. I think I’ll be more adventurous with the leather an canvas esthetic or mysterious with the books and fountain pens. This is all subconscious by the way and I due truly love books and natural fibers and I love the feeling of writing with a fountain pen. But I already have them and continue to want more. I’m trying to fill something. This is bad for finances, I have a handle on them but to continue this path will not be maintainable. It’s time to sell or get rid of things and use what I have. I have been debt free before and I intend to again. Spending money and buying things with money I don’t have puts me deeper in a whole and slave to the lender. I will not be that person anymore. I can learn who I am without owning more stuff, and I can probably do it faster owning less and spending less.
Alittle late on this post but I’m here and I got it done, I’ll stick with it! You may have already noticed that my plan is to lay out my key focus point then move on to putting solutions in place. Thanks for reading I’ll see you next week!
